Language Arts:
In the next week in writing, the children will be generating ideas for
their first opinion piece of writing. In reading, the children will apply
reading strategies for fluency and comprehension.

We will be launching our first math unit which is focused on whole
numbers, place value and rounding. This week we will focus on
reading and writing numbers through the millions place and learn
vocabulary to help us explain our thinking about large numbers.
